About the Materials

Q: What materials are your products produced from? Does your factory use more than one material?

Most of our products are made from cornstarch, PLA and sugarcane bagasse. We have 4 kind products of different materials.

  • First one we call it CSP I is made of cornstarch, which is 100% biodegradable & compostable.
  • Second one we call it CSP II is made of cornstarch with PP mixed, which is biodegradable, but no compostable.
  • Third one is made of PLA, 100% biodegradable & compostable.
  • Forth one is made of sugarcane bagasse, 100% biodegradable & compostable.

Q: What is CSP I?

A: CSP I is our biodegradable resin based on cornstarch, which is 100% biodegradable and compostable. Tablewares made from CSPI resin look and feel just like regular plastic, and corn is a renewable resource which makes corn plastics much more sustainable than regular plastic. Did you know that regular plastic is made from petroleum? And the CSP I is very expesive.

Q: What is CSP II?

A: CSP II is our biodegradable resin based on cornstarch ( more than 60% ) and Plyolefin ( PP less than 40% ), which will 90% biodegrade within 2 years, but not compostable. Tablewares made from CSP II resin is stronger than CSP I and with a much higher temperature resistence. And it is much cheaper than CSP I, only a litter expensive than petroleum based plastic. So CSP II is a good alternative to regular plastic.

Q: What is PLA?

A: Poly Lactic Acid (PLA), widely known as 100% biodegradable material, is derived from renewable plant resource, corn for example. The corn is firstly fermented and distillated to produce lactic acid. Then through series of process, such as refining, dehydration, polymerization, high-temp de-polymerization and finally polymerization, lactic acid is then converted into PLA resin.

Q: What is bagasse / sugarcane?

A: Bagasse is sugarcane fiber waste left after juice extraction. It is 100% biodegradable and compostable.

Q: What is regular Plastic?

A: Plastic, which is produced from Petrochemical, is the most widely used material on earth, but it will fully pollute the world in the next few centuries. Petroleum resources are finite and the oil supply is limited. Therefore it becomes important for human to find plastic substitutes, especially in packaging and disposable applications. Furthermore, plastic is the most durable but non-degradable. It is evident that the ecosystem is considerably disturbed and damaged as a result of the high disposable plastics call over the world.

About custom designs

Q: Can you create custom designs?

A: Yes, we can produce the goods as your request with addtional mold fee. Contact us for the details.

Q: Can our logo be printed or embossed onto the tablewares?

  • To the cups, your company's name and/ or logo can be printed on the cups.
  • And to other tablewares, your company's name and/or logo can be embossed onto the products to meet your brand name and marketing requirements. But we must modify the mold first, so extra mold fee would be needed.

About Samples charge

With the increasing number of sample requests, it has become difficult for us to manage all the requests because of the time required for collecting the samples and paying the postage. Therefore, we still provide free samples, but we would like to ask you postage collect.

The delivery cost USD 35 to USD 80 by TNT / UPS / FedEx, taking 6-9 days.
