• The sugarcane bagasse biodegradable plates are made from 100% sugar cane fiber (bagasse), a byproduct of the sugar refining process.
• The sugarcane fiber is a waste product from the sugar extraction process. Once you discard these containers they begin to break down to their natural basic elements within 3-6 months (in commercial compost facility) and will not leave any chemical or man-made residue behind.
