I want a simple way to cast thumb rings from resin – unfortunately, I don’t have a few pounds of alginate on-hand, or any of the other media used to make molds. Even my silicone putty is hidden away for the moment, making it a challenge.
So what can I do that won’t cost an arm and a leg? How about gelatin? The last time I used it was to mold sea shells for chocolate – I can’t imagine this would be much different.
